What’s a lie you tell yourself?
Why would you lie to yourself? It’s pointless, because you know what you wish you did better and could do better – so there’s no point in lying to yourself.
I guess the only thing I can think of is that I try to give the impression that I’m “happy and content” all the time, which is obviously not true – I’m just OK and get on with my life to the best of my ability. However, I don’t consider that “lying to myself” – it’s just a case of getting on with life and not dwelling on all the negative things occurring around you or all the things you would like to have been able to do.
Short post, but I think it’s a silly question.
